Dress in clothes that will support your practice. Choose pieces that allow free range of movement, avoiding those that will bind or restrict.
Cell phones are not allowed in the practice space – this is a time to unplug and get space from distractions.
Try not to eat 2 hours before practice. Practicing on an empty stomach is ideal. A little snack is ok if you need some energy, but keep it light.
Drink lots of water before and after practice, but refrain from drinking during your practice.
Before the start of class let the teacher know about any injuries or anything else you may need help with.
It is best to arrive at least 10-15 minutes early to ensure you get a space and to prepare for class.
Classes start promptly at the stated time. No arrivals will be admitted later than 10 minutes after class starts.
Practice as often as you can…4-6 times a week for maximum benefit…but at least 1-3 times a week is great start.
