Gentle Theraputic Yoga- This 75 minute class provides a gentle practice for anyone new to yoga or wanting a gentle slow-paced class. It’s also a safe space for those working with specific injuries or physical limitations. In this class we’ll focus on breathing practices to bring us into presence and calm the nervous system, gentle basic yoga poses, body awareness and attunement, and proper alignment in the poses. Along with a well-balanced practice, we’ll work in some specific yoga therapeutics focusing on neck, shoulders, hips, knees, low back, etc. Receive supportive and precise hands-on adjustments to meet your needs (if desired) and end class with a blissful deep relaxation. Allow your yoga to work for you no matter where you’re at in your practice or your life.

Candlelight Restorative- Unwind your week as you step into the warmth and quiet of our Candle-lit studio, and enjoy 90 minutes of bliss. This class will focus on extra-gentle restorative and yin poses, designed to bring the nervous system into balance. Attune deeply to your own inner landscape, listen to your breath and practice being excessively gentle with yourself. All poses in this class are done on the floor, completely supported by props, bolsters and blankets. No efforting is necessary. This is a great practice for anyone needing an extra gentle practice or those experiencing physical or emotional challenges. All body types and abilities are welcome into this safe, healing space. This class is a wonderful entry into the weekend. Healing touch and delicious aromatherapy (if desired) round out this blissful practice.

Yoga Nidra- Yoga Nidra means “yogic sleep”. It is deep relaxation with a slight trace of awareness. Its intention is to release tension in the body and mind as to feel more rested, energized, calm, and free of stress. Yoga Nidra is a guided relaxation where the student lies down and is completely receptive to instruction. This is a very powerful, transformative practice to release muscular, emotional and mental tensions. 1 hour of yoga nidra equates to 8 hours of sleep. Because of this, it is a profoundly more powerful way to gain rest and relaxation than sleep. A perfect practice for mid-day or before bed. Great for anyone needing a break from the stresses of life…which is to say, everyone! No yoga experience necessary.
