Meditation: Meditation is a great antidote to the busyness of our lives and minds. All movement and stress begin in the mind. Meditation helps to alleviate worry, stress, helps to see truth from the stories the mind creates, feel more content and peaceful, lower blood pressure, calm the nervous system among many other benefits. There are many styles of meditation, here we will bring focus on the breath. There will be time for questions regarding technique and sharing experience.


Group Sit: This is a time devoted to meditation, but NOT guided. It is powerful to sit in a group of meditators. It is aimed and fostering a regular meditation practice. The times scheduled for Group Sit’s are meant for the meditator to come at any time through the hour and sit for as long as you like….even if it is 5 minutes. Experience recommended, but not required…there will be instructions on how to meditate at the front desk. This is a donation based offering.


Yoga Nidra- Yoga Nidra means “yogic sleep”. It is deep relaxation with a slight trace of awareness. Its intention is to release tension in the body and mind as to feel more rested, energized, calm, and free of stress. Yoga Nidra is a guided relaxation where the student lies down and is completely receptive to instruction. This is a very powerful, transformative practice to release muscular, emotional and mental tensions. 1 hour of yoga nidra equates to 8 hours of sleep. Because of this, it is a profoundly more powerful way to gain rest and relaxation than sleep. A perfect practice for mid-day or before bed. Great for anyone needing a break from the stresses of life…which is to say, everyone! No yoga experience necessary.
